Mike Gillespie

MIKE GILLESPIE

Mike started his career of working on boats right out of diapers. Growing up in the family business and learning all he could from his father Lee and uncle Scott.

Mike enjoys spending time with is family of 6 children, camp & boating.

Josh

JOSH BAILEY

Josh joined Lee’s Marine Engine and Gear back in 2007. Josh was a manager at a local parts store, before joining Lee’s Marine/Gillespie Marine. He won the AAA Ford challenge at the vocational school.

Josh enjoys spending time with his family at their campsite in the summer, an snowmobiling in the winter. He is often engaged in a competitive game of corn hole when he is not at work.

Ben Dyer

BEN DYER

Ben joined our team in 2019 after retiring from a fulfilling career in the United States Coast Guard.

Other than being willing and able to go anywhere anytime he is needed, he enjoys spending time with his family, and working on projects in his community.

Benny

BENNY CHADWICK

Benny is a long time family friend. He comes coming from a construction company keeping their equipment running. Benny is self-driven graduate of Central & Eastern Maine Community College. He enjoys hunting, fishing, & ATVing.

dave stinson

DAVID STINSON

Dave started in 2009 and handles almost all of the part cleaning and painting. He is the reason everything looks good when it leaves. Dave enjoys spending time fishing with his sons and watching them play sports.

JOSEPH GILLESPIE

Joe is the typical bosses son. He is a full time student at Central Maine Community Center enrolled in the precision machining program. He is a hard worker and enjoys all things outside.

Lee Gillespie

Lee started his career in the USCG as a mechanic. He later worked for a few places such as Stewart & Stevenson and Great Lakes power. While working at Great Lakes Power he employed Mike and then shortly after went on his own.

Lee, Mike, Josh, & Dave worked together for 15 years until Mike and Josh bought him out. Unfortunately Lee passed away just a few short months later.

Lee enjoyed hunting, fishing, smoking, & coffee. He loved all of his grandchildren, and his wife, Kim. We all started down this path because of him.
